POETIC ACTION / LISTEN TO THE BODY

What does our body have to tell us? This activity engages artistic, poetic and reflective exercises with different audiences to practice sensitive listening to our own bodies and the transposition of these sensations into images.

September 08 Wednesday - 4pm (Rio de Janeiro time zone)

READING SPACES / ABC COLLECTION

This activity brings together three books from the Complexo da Mare archives that remind us about what childhood teaches us: The ABC of Brazil, The ABC of the African Continent, and ABC of the Jewish World.

September 17 Friday - 4pm (Rio de Janeiro time zone)

PROSE BELA + 10

This meeting initiates a series with curators, producers and artists to archive histories of the Galpao Bela Mare over the past 10 years, with a focus on artistic production. We seek to align and activate memories while operating in the dynamics of the present, as well as expanding on future perspectives for this space.

September 24 Friday - 4pm (Rio de Janiero time zone)

CineBela / Art of Laughter

The Galpao Bela Mare movie club shows short films and feature films. The online movie sessions are opened from playlists created on Galpao Bela Mare’s YouTube channel and shared on our social networks. In this movie session, we’ll be showing stand-up comedy, starring Black comedians.
