Anna Kirstine Schirrer
Anna Kirstine Schirrer is a Danish legal anthropologist, doctoral candidate and certificate fellow with the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University. She is broadly interested in state responsibility for historical injustices and the governance of difference. Her dissertation project focuses on claims to redress for transatlantic slavery, white supremacy and racial exclusion in international law. She is currently developing her next project on affective diplomacy and the colonial origins of neutrality politics in Scandinavia.
