Amal Ghandour

Ms. Amal Ghandour’s career spans more than two decades in the fields of research and communication. An author (About This Man Called Ali) and a former blogger (Thinking Fits), Ghandour is Senior Strategy Adviser to Ruwwad al Tanmeyah, a regional community development initiative, a position she has held since 2009. Ghandour, who was special adviser to Columbia University Global Centers, Middle East, from 2014 to 2017, sits on the Board of Trustees of International College, the Board of Directors of Ruwwad, Lebanon, and has served on the Board of Directors of The Arab Human Rights Fund (2011-2014). She holds an MS in International Policy from Stanford University and a BSFS from Georgetown University.
