Leticia Sabsay

Leticia Sabsay is a Research Associate at the Department of Politics and International Studies at The Open University. Her appointment is part of the ‘Oecumene - Citizenship after Orientalism’ ERC project. Her areas of specialism encompass: critical social theory; feminist cultural and visual studies; and queer theory. Prior to taking on this role she studied sociology, and subsequently became Assistant Professor of Communications, at the University of Buenos Aires before leaving Argentina in 2002. Since then, she has continued to collaborate with this University as a faculty member of the Gino Germani Research Institute in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
