Nadrah Mohammed
As a feminist literary scholar, her research explores mid-20th century Francophone representations of friendship between women. Her dissertation considers how the dynamics of race, class and sexual orientation intersect with gendered expectations of virtue to shape narrative approaches to women’s friendship. She is the coordinator of the Insurgent Domesticities working group and the rapporteur to the Beyond France University Seminar. Her work on postcolonial gardens in women’s Francophone writing has appeared in L’esprit créateur.
