Susannah B. Mintz

Susannah B. Mintz is associate professor of English at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She is the author of Threshold Poetics: Milton and Intersubjectivity (2003) and Unruly Bodies: Life Writing by Women with Disabilities (2007), and co-editor with Lisa Johnson of On the Literary Nonfiction of Nancy Mairs: A Critical Anthology (2011). Her current project is entitled Hurt and Pain: A Literary History. She has published and presented numerous papers on the intersections of disability representation and life writing, and has served on the executive committee of the MLA Division on Disability Studies for the past five years.
