Tomi Haxhi

Tomi Haxhi is a PhD student in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures specializing in Russian literature. Originally from Albania, Tomi completed his BA at McGill University and his MA at the University of Toronto. His dissertation focuses on Soviet and post-Soviet speculative fiction from the Revolution to the Putin era, and the discourse of posthumanism as a way of working through national trauma and reckoning with historical breaks.
